A soft slightly damp cloth will be enough for regular cleaning. Do not use shoe polish as the leather used for furniture is not the same as the one used to make shoes. Avoid placing leather in direct sunlight as the colour might fade. Do not place leather next to a radiator or a fireplace as heat may dry the skin. Do not use a rough cloth or abrasive sponge: they could scratch the material.
